Where did you go to school, and what did you study? I attended Delaware State University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Movement Science. I then completed my Physician Assistant degree at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
Why did you want to become a Physician Assistant? My passion for medicine, innate curiosity to learn, and desire to help others led me to become a PA. A key goal in my career is to address social determinants of health and work toward reducing healthcare disparities, while striving to provide patients with high-quality, collaborative, and compassionate care.
What are your hobbies? I enjoy spending time with family and friends, catching up on tv shows, and making homemade cosmetics.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work? My favorite thing to do outside of work is to spend quality time with my loved ones.
What can a patient expect when they see you as a provider? Patients can expect a warm smile, a compassionate approach, and a collaborative effort focused on improving their health outcomes.
