We’re opening a student-based health center at William Penn Senior High School in York City!
The new center will open with the beginning of the 2024-25 school year. We’ll be offering primary medical and behavioral health care to support the students where they already spend most of their time: in school. The center will provide a medical home to students, making it more convenient to get their medical care. School-based health centers like this promote improved health outcomes and health literacy for students and staff who use them. They also correlate with positive education outcomes: students learn better, the attendance rate of students is increased, graduation rates improve, and drop-out rate decrease.
Join us in making this new center a reality for William Penn Senior High School students!
